Albert Fried & Company Forms Technology Joint Venture with Bon Trade Solutions

Albert Fried & Company, LLC. (AFCO), a New York Stock Exchange member and self-clearing broker dealer which is celebrating its 90th anniversary on October 6, 2009, has aligned with Bon Trade Solutions, a leading provider of risk managed electronic trading solutions and market center connectivity, to form Market Optimization Technologies, LLC. (MOT).

Market Optimization Technologies, LLC. will provide trading technology products and services to the buy-side and sell-side communities. Services will include ultra low latency automated trading strategy development and implementation for quantitative asset managers. Scott F. Carotenuto, Managing Director with Albert Fried & Company says “This turn key approach to electronic strategy development and deployment for asset managers, when coupled with AFCO's self-clearing infrastructure, will provide a complete offering for confidential and anonymous low latency automated trading.”

Other products and services expected to emerge from Market Optimization Technologies include a suite of algorithmic tools, execution management strategies for buy-side and sell-side firms, and a dark crossing system that will clear through Albert Fried & Company for added confidentiality.

Additionally Albert Fried & Company will add several Bon Trade front-end solutions to its list of execution systems offered to their clients including BTS's Pro EMS, a powerful equity and options execution application and BTS Access, a full featured web based trading application.
